FAQ

How many treatments will it take to have my concern resolved?

Your treatment plan will be developed and discussed with you after your initial Assessment with your therapist, many factors influence the length of treatment, such as: how long you have had the problem, other health challenges you are experiencing, how much you follow through with instructions on what to do at home for your particular condition, i.e. ice or heat as requested by your therapist. Our goal is to have you pain free as soon as possible so you can return to the activities you love.

What will it cost?

The cost of your treatment will be based on the standard fees for Massage Therapy and or Acupuncture at the clinic, depending on what has been determined between you and your therapist to be the best treatment for you. For a description of services and fees please click on the Book Online button. Once you have discussed your treatment plan, your therapist will outline the length of treatment they feel is the best for you to get efficient and effective results.

Many Insurance companies cover the cost of these different therapies. In some cases you will need to obtain a Doctor’s note referring you for the specific treatments. Check with your insurance provider to find out what you are covered for and if you need a Doctor’s referral.

What are your hours?

Every therapist has their own schedule. In general the clinic operates Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, and Saturdays 8am-4pm. By appointment only.

What can I expect at my first visit?

On your first visit, you will be asked for a confidential medical history, which will help your Therapist form your assessment and treatment plan. Once you have been informed of your treatment options, consent to treatment is obtained and any questions you may have are answered, the Therapist will exit the treatment room while you undress to your comfort level (if this is indicated for the treatment) and lie on the table and cover yourself with a sheet and/or blanket. Only the area of the body being treated at that moment is undraped. You are always encouraged to be comfortable in your choice of clothing removal, and treatment options are always available with clothing on.

Our goal is to have you feeling comfortable and relaxed. During the treatment, you are encouraged to discuss any reactions or feelings regarding the treatment. At the conclusion of treatment, the Therapist will discuss any homecare they feel will benefit you and may recommend a treatment plan for further visits.

Treatment should take place in an atmosphere of safety and confidence. It is a partnership between you and your Therapist, who will help you to understand the processes behind your pain or concern and how you can work together to alleviate it. Your body has the capacity to heal itself, Massage Therapy and Acupuncture are highly effective ways to assist your body in doing this.
